Also in Broward County, MCSS is building self-storage facilities at 18460 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines and at 812 NW First St. in Fort Lauderdale. Both are expected to open in the first half of the year. MCSS plans to develop more than 1.5 million square feet in South Florida.

“We continue to search for underserved, population-dense locations within Broward County,” said Jay Massirman, MCSS partner. “However, self-storage development in South Florida as a whole is rapidly declining due to most markets in the region reaching equilibrium or moving towards oversupply.”
